Polish Festival in Arizona. Lots of Fun

That’s it! 14th Annual Polish Festival in Phoenix, Arizona just took place last weekend. This was my sixth time when I volunteer there. It’s always lots of work and little time but … the most important part: great people to work with. It’s worth it. And you know it’s worth it when you so many happy people visiting the festival venue.

If you have never been to Polish Festival in Phoenix you should know few things about this annual event:

  • family-friendly entertainment (live music, dance assemblies from USA and Canada)
  • Polish traditional food (oh yes! get ready for different types of pierogies, hunter’s stew, cabbage rolls, crepes, sausages & sauerkraut, potato pancakes, beer, pastries)
  • Polish history/culture/art exhibit

I think that this festival is one of the largest on the West coast and I hope that Polish community is proud to be part of this event. Just to share the Polish culture and art with others, it’s important for many of us.

At the end of the day, it’s all about a great time together and something more…sharing the culture and art as well. And that we love to share with everyone who is willing to join us this time of the year.
